After all that rain yesterday, it was misty first thing and overcast now, but we have been promised some sunshine.
Looks like Susie and I will be stuck at home tomorrow as the forecast's for rain and increasing wind. |

We had thunder and lightening but only rain for about 30 mins yesterday. Today has been sunny and bright with occasional cloudy bits so we've been very lucky according to the papers. |

We had thinderstorms on Monday, while I was cooking the dinner, the rain was torrential and caused quite a lot of damage and flooding, I suppose it must have lasted about half an hour. At least we wont have to water the garden for a couple of days. |

Oohh... that must have been the thunderstorm that passed us over here Monday night (well, actually it was Tuesday-morning very early).
We had serious lightning and thunder-rumble, one of them sounded as if it hit the house ! (It didn't though.)
Tuesday-morning started very fine and we've had nice weather (again) ever since. We left on Tuesday-morning for a few days at the seaside (where I like to be... ) and came back this afternoon.
Until now we can't complain too much about the weather... except for last week's Thursday, when I got soaking-wet three times !
Let's hope the summer-holidays for the children bring nice weather too.
Edit to add :
The thunderstorm we had Monday-night hardly brought us any rain... |

Its all very icky here, I have done 3 lots of washing, none of them were big washes but we go away on Monday, for a few days, the sky has been constanly grey here for days and tomorrow is the Summer Solstice, what a joke! |

A heatwave warning.
According to the five-day local forecast, we in Lincolnshire aren't likely to have more than 24 degrees, and that with cloud cover most of the time. Humid and dull: not my favourite combination of weather!
This morning is a chilly 14 degrees, overcast and 98% humidity. Such joy. The washing will probably take all day to dry. |

It has been awfully hot and humid the last few days, the other night we left the door open to the bedroom so that some breeze would come in but all we had was the cat at 4am in the morning.
Yesterday was overcast but hot with hardly any breeze so we were grateful for the air conditioning in the car as we headed to Poole and quite a shock when we got out as the humidity was oppressive. |

We are having the heatwave we were promised. Its a high of 30 degrees today, we came back from holiday to find we have no hot water despite having the boiler serviced two days before we went away! I have had 2 cold showers, but I quite liked them! |

It is chilly here at the moment, as it's foggy. |

Last night seemed the hottest ever,
There is a cool breeze this morning and one of our customers said we had a strong gust of wind in the early hours and it blew all the ornaments of their shelf. |

We have had some rain this week, but only enough to wet the surface. This afternoon, though, it was so dark that I had to put the light on, and around half past three, the storm broke with thunder and lightning, torrential rain. it didn't last long, but although the sun has tried to break through a couple of times, it's still dark enough to need the light. |

It has been wet and windy for most of the day, and for the last 3 hours, the wind has really picked up and it's been throwing the rain in all directions. I'm amazed that the potato foliage is still standing as at times, it's been on a horizontal level with the grass.
It's been so dark that I've had the light on since six o'clock. |
